Avalon expressed interest in sitting up about a week after Thanksgiving when she saw her older cousin, Dorian, sitting up on his own. We started to sit her up in the boppy with toys in front of her and she really enjoyed it. She is so interested now in everything around her, especially toys that she can grasp easily. By the time we returned from MN, she was becoming a pro at sitting up and can do it quite easily and usually without assistance, although we still usually keep the boppy behind her. She has also started to become very interested in textures and is always feeling things around her to see how they feel.
