First Trip to Disneyland

We made our first trip to Disneyland during Jarad's spring break. We spent one day there with Mummi and Ukki. The park was really busy that day, so the lines were extremely long. We waited 40 minutes to an hour for some rides. Thus, we didn't ride on very many rides, but Avalon still had a great time!


On the way there, we told Avalon she was going to meet Mickey Mouse, so she was really excited!

Soon after we arrived, we went right to Mickey's house in Toon Town to meet Mickey Mouse. Waiting in line for 30 minutes wasn't too bad as there were lots of things to entertain Avalon along the way. Often times we had to encourage her to keep moving, so we wouldn't lose our place in line.

Her favorite ride was Storybook Land. It was a boat ride that went through the whales mouth from Pinnochio. As soon as she saw it, she asked to go on it. It was our first ride and we waited 40 minutes in line.

Archer's favorite ride was the Riverboat because he could actually crawl around rather than having to be held or in the stroller. Avalon also really like the boat ride and so did we because we didn't have to wait in line.
