Archer is in 5th grade this year, so he has joined the band at Fellows. When he went into his consultation to choose as instrument, he was set on playing the trumpet like his mom, but after being introduced (virtually) to all the instruments the band instructor suggested he try the french horn. So Archer decided to give it a try for 2 months and then decide if he wants to continue or switch to the trumpet.
Archer had his first lesson today, so he finally got to take his instrument, which we rented from the school for this year, out of its case. So exciting! He enjoyed his first lesson and can even play a few notes!
