Avalon sprained her ankle on the slide on Jarad's birthday, February 1st. We had it checked out and it was not broken; however, she did not walk on it for about a week (instead she crawled again). By the following Sunday, she was taking some cautious steps, but she did continue to favor it for another week. She is finally back to herself these past couple of days and it seems her ankle has heeled. The picture above was one of her favorite places to play while her ankle was injured. She always liked pushing the toy in the picture below, but she especially liked it while her ankle was healing. On a side note, she has now learned the word "push" and will ask me to push her on this toy as well.
