Another milestone - Archer is Walking!

We have declared that Archer is officially walking now and thus has moved from being a baby to a toddler. Yikes! Where does the time go. As with Avalon, it is difficult to determine when to give credit for walking, but we've given Archer credit to Archer for walking on April 15th (11 months). For comparison Avalon was walking at about 12 months. Check out this link to see the video of Avalon first walking.


Before Archer was officially walking, he liked to walk on his knees, which was pretty cute. I've also included a couple of videos of him walking on his knees below for those of you who can't visualize it.


For Archer, deciding when he was walking was a bit easier. We found this really great park not too far from one of our favorite local hang outs, Yo Yum Yums. On Friday, April 8th, Archer was getting around the park by doing a little walking, but mostly he was knee walking or crawling. When we went back to the park the next Friday evening, Archer was walking everywhere. If he fell down, he'd quickly find a place to pull up again so that he could walk again.
