Our day started off with Avalon's soccer game followed by Archer's soccer game. It was a bit cold this morning with wind, but both kids played great! Archer almost scored a goal!
Next, we were heading to SureFire Fitness for his Kid Ninja Birthday Party (an obstacle course like American Ninja Warrior). Archer and all his friends had a blast! Check out Archer and Avalon running the entire obstacle course! They both did great!
Archer had told us a couple weeks ago that he wanted to buy a Nintendo Switch (a new video game system). We had never even heard of it before. He thought it was $500, so he would have to save up for a while, but when I looked it up, it was "only" $300. So Archer counted the money that he has been saving up for over a year (maybe two years) and he already had $270. He wasn't saving for anything in particular until now! Then he needed another $60 to buy the game Mario Odessy, which is the game he wanted. But Grandma and Grandpa were in town today for Archer's birthday and they gave him the game, so he only needed another $30 to buy the system. He received some money from Great Grandpa Lauren and Great Aunt & Uncle Rita and Sandy, so he was so excited to be able to buy the new gaming system!
We had a really fun day! So happy to have such an amazing, fun and kind kid in our family! We love you Archer!
