Since we've been back in MN, we've done lots of fun things with our family. Camille's parents and brother's family have memberships to the YMCA, so we took all the kids swimming on the first two Sundays of the month.
The open swim was at 1pm, so Archer fell asleep on the car ride over both times. The first time, he woke up in time to take a quick swim. There were tons of kids, so Archer was just mesmerized just watching them. Avie was so excited to go swimming. She put her life jacket on right away, which was amazing since she wanted nothing to do with it last summer. She had tons of fun swimming around. She even took a trip down the slide. Grandma made sure to catch her before she went under water. She went right back up the steps to do it again, but then decided against it. She also watched her cousin Dorian jump off the side into Camille's brother's arms and then she did it too (well, she jumped into Mommy's arms). I was pretty amazed! Jarad wasn't in town yet, so unfortunately, I didn't get any pics.
Avalon asked about going swimming again all week, so we decided to go again the next Sunday. This time Jarad came along so I was able to get some good pictures and videos. Unfortunately, Archer slept the whole time, so I don't have any pics of him. Bummer! Grandpa stayed in the viewing area to watch Archer, so no pics of him either. Thanks Grandpa!
Avalon was so brave in jumping from the side of the pool into Jarad's arms. Check out this video. Awesome!

Avie and Archer's cousin Corbin is an amazing swimmer now. He loves swimming and is quickly moving up the levels in swim lessons.
Cousin Dorian is following suit. He does wear a life jacket, but is able to stay afloat all on his own.
