Well we had an eventful evening last night. Camille was having contractions at regular 3-5 minute intervals for at least 2 hours. She tried to drink lots of water, laid down, and took a bath, but the contractions were persistent. Since Camille and Grant were born on the same day, I thought it would be fitting to have our baby yesterday since it was my sister's (golden) birthday. Although we were somewhat convinced these contractions were not the real deal, we ended up calling the doctor who suggested that Camille would not be able to sleep through the contractions if it was real labor. All of this provided good motivation to pack our hospital bag, which we did before we headed to bed. In the end, Camille was able to sleep through the contractions but still woke up every hour to head to the bathroom.
