Itsy Bitsy Spider

As we've said before, Avalon loves music! Here is a cute video of Avalon doing the actions for the Itsy Bitsy Spider song. The video was taken on November 24th, 2009, so she was about 16 months old. And she ends it with a high five for daddy! How cute!

A Baby Brother

Yep, that's right, it's a boy! Avalon is going to have a baby brother. The doctor said with 100% certainty that it is a boy, which you can see for yourself in the pic below. He was one pound, which was a little bigger than average and he has long legs (92%). We actually got some good 3-D pics this time too, so I've posted one of them above.

Big Sister

Yep, Avalon is going to be a Big Sister! We are expecting another baby. Camille is almost 21 weeks pregnant and our due date is May 19th. We just had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday and we did find out the gender. But before we tell, please let us know your predictions/guesses on the gender via the poll on the right.


Avalon is already taking to her big sister role as she is very interested in dolls now. She pushes her dolls in the stroller, feeds them her milk, changes their diapers, wraps them in a blanket (which is actually the armrest cover from our recliner which she found herself and decided to use as a blanket), wipes their nose (as we've been wiping hers frequently due to a cold) and gives them lots of hugs and kisses.

Lego table or chair?

Avalon learned some new things from her cousin Dorian and this was one of them. She found a great new way to play at the lego table. Yep, she is sitting in the drawer and having a blast! After she saw Dorian climb in, she did just the same.

Spinach..Yum!

We found a way that Avalon will eat Spinach. Mummi (Grandma Niemi) made Avalon a green smoothie with spinach, apple, banana, and lime and Avalon loved it! She drank a whole glass. Yum, yum! Or as Avalon would say "num, num, num."
