Good Sleeper!

Archer is now sleeping through the night! At two months old, Archer started to consistently sleep for 7 to 7.5 hours per night. And now that he is three months old, he usually sleeps 8 hours a night and a few times he has even slept for 9 hours. He does still have an occasional night where he wakes up once in the middle of the night, but all in all, he is a good sleeper!

At night, we swaddle him in a sleep sack.




When he wakes up in the morning usually between 5:30am and 7:00am, he'll often eat and then go back to sleep for a while in Mommy and Daddy's bed.




For naps during the day, he prefers to sleep in the car seat or swing.



He also enjoys napping outside as he loves the fresh air.



And he'll happily nap in anyones arms or lap for as long as your willing to hold him.





Before he was two months old when he was still waking up often to eat during the day and night, he preferred to sleep in his swing or in someones lap.

Tea Party

Avie had her first tea party in Duluth MN at Mummi and Ukki's house. In attendance was Mickey Mouse, Smooches bear, and Peace bear. How cute!



Mummi bought her this cute porcelin tea set, which thus far Avie has been very careful with. She has had several tea parties since then and I think she enjoys taking the pieces in and out of the box just as much as the actual tea party. It's kind of like a puzzle to put them back in the right place. Here's a few more pics of the event.

Archer smiles!

Archer is really smiling and cooing now. It is so cute! He loves to get attention from people now and he rewards that attention with great smiles and sometimes a good spit up too! He first smiled around 6 weeks old and he is now 12 weeks. The smiles are still often fleeting so it is difficult to catch them on camera, but we've managed to get a few cute ones!
